My old paypal script which is being used a quite a lot will be getting an upgrade soon. It will now be a full fledged digital store yet simple to use. For not i can say it will be somewhat like Shopify and Bigcartel mixed up and digital file handling added and some other cool neat features. Will also be capable of handling normal goods.
It will be called BaseApp Digisell and will be dual licensed ( Like MySql ).
If you guys have any ideas which you wuold like to see in a simple flexible shopping cart please let me know.
Great Idea , A Shopify / Bigcartel clone sounds like a nice idea. A neat simple shopping cart would be really nice which i can host myself, cant really build my business which depends on someone else.
A step-by-step requirements/installation/intergration/usage instruction for us uber-n00bs would be nice.

Wow, I am struggling to understand if my transaction has worked properly. I didn’t receive an email when I tried registering. Using the link I included above.
I don’t need to do a file download. Just enable access to part of website that is hidden. BUT I just copied the files in the zip upto my server after changing the settings file.

As far as features, database driven, expiring download links? I love the first digi app I found but I would love to be able to offer my users a list of my music where they can download the song -or full album- for a set price and they will be e-mailed an expiring link… So it would be awesome if you could add products like…

that way you could spcify a .zip file for the whole album or a .mp3 file for a singular track…. I’m not sure how you could make it work with a shopping cart like if someone added 2 or 3 singular files… could they get an email with 3 download links? Thats my only input / requests = )

Store rentals option short term long term 4. Vendor own signup and cpanel with simple WYSIWYG editor…. looking 4ward to your project… do you have a ETA Cheers
Would be happy with a simple digital delivery setup. Where one uses their own HTML pages. With PayPal shopping cart integration (multiple deliveries with one order) and limited encrypted download links. No customer login required (just email to send files to). Keep it simple.
How soon can we expect this?

Uhm, I’m trying to get into selling electronic stuff, and I have a list of keys for games and I would like to sell each key for $10. The thing is, I don’t know how to sell them. I looked at your old script (http://www.ngcoders.com/php/selling-digital-goods-with-paypal-ipn-and-php) and that sends a link to a file by email. Considering all of my keys are in one file, that won’t work. What should I do?
umm, permissions , what should the permissions be set to, is there a directory structure requirement, or is this all supposed to be on the top ( /store/everything… ) what are the main reasons why notification wouldnt work??
