Custom version and Setup is for those who cannot set it up or dont have the time.

Flash Does not allow Cross domain.Java also dosent but thats what signing is for.

Basically Every Applet is manually compiled and signed for the custom site.
You can use the same setup on multiple sites , but all sites will show the same signer and publisher which might not match the site and confuse your visitors.

Use the php script with youtube php class. Itll do fine in command line.

yes you can customize template , other version will show a java popup which has your sites name

Only the person who has accessed the page can view the video. And you cannot fetch and extract the download link.
